The character is really beautiful every man lusts for her. But she on the other hand is drawn to something which she herself can’t fathom. A force which also makes her vomit at the sight of any kind of intimacy. She begins to be invaded in the very beginning by her sister’s boyfriend. The couple keeps making love while she is in the other room leaving her at loggers end. She doesn’t get any more respite when the man leaves his toiletries in her glass. There is also another man in her life who keeps hounding her. But he begins to be hounded by his own self doubt and insecurity. He begins to use her as his gateway to his entire problem. But this tends to become little more than what he had bargained for.

These are the outer things that are related to this center: (1) the color gray or blue, (2) the note so, (3) the word will in the Lord’s prayer, (4) the planet Uranus, (5) the element ether, and of course, (6) the church of Sardis, and (7) the thyroid Ray Ban Sonnenbrillen. An eye lights up the screen with several movements in a Brownian motion. It creates the necessary effect of a troubled mind without giving much away. The movie on the screen is a 1965 Roman Polanski movie. It doesn’t work in the traditional sense of a psychological movie but it takes you by surprise. The protagonist is a virgin from Brussels who lives in a dichotomy with her sexual inclinations. There is not much said or done through half of the movie. But the silent voices, the imaginary faces and the breaking walls begin to create a destruction of the characters mind at regular intervals. There is also a dead rabbit which is used as a constant reminder of where her mind is about to take the audience.

The trouble starts when the sister leaves Carol for a holiday. From here turns into a absurdest and psychological fare. Many of the shots in the flat are very unusual and also unsettling. This gives it a very uneasy feeling for the audience. There are some beautiful images of hands tugging at her even fondling her at times. But this used to stress the mental state and is not done very tastefully. The repulsion is more of a human condition which Carol faces on a day to day basis. This leaves her in a dream sort of state most of the time. She works at a Body shop where she tends to customers nails. It is more of repulsion to people which the director must have been going through at the time. There is a thin line which he draws between reality and imaginationsOakley Sunglasses. This makes it not very enjoyable to watch but leaves with a sense of what is going through her mind at that very moment. The film is like a study of how Carol’s mind distorts to a point where there can’t be any exit.
